Bravo, Max! have been busy of late. They have quite a few shows this spring, including the very note-able March 7th @ Granada Theater where they’ll open for Telegraph Canyon and Wheeler Brothers. They have also been working up lots and lots of new songs in preparation for upcoming sessions where they will soon continue studio work on their sophomore album. One of their ongoing writing sessions took place last December in Canton, TX at a place called Blue Gill Cabins. The trio rented a Cedar built house, cleared the furniture out of the main room, and finished writing 3 songs in 3 straight days of work.
The band just released a new video today featuring a live cut of one song in particular they are calling “Raise A Toast”. The result is super lo-fi, dark, and raw, and we are loving the new sound so much we hope it’s a taste of the new LP’s direction.
